Christmas Dinner Hut Weekend

Postby Jules » Sat Nov 03, 2018 10:33 am

Well, 7 months on from my ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair and I am moving quite well, although still a way to go before I will be doing the southern circuit of the Carnedds, I should be able to manage Moel Siabod. So, will be attending this festive trip. The hut is in a beautiful location, with good parking, if you don't mind shuffling the cars around, so those wanting to make an early start are able to get out without disturbing those that wish to have a more relaxed start ;) . Looking forward to catching up with the troops. Jules. :D

Well the weather isn't the best at the moment, but I don't think it's a bad forecast for Saturday. Rain in the morning, but clearing by the afternoon. Might revise the lump I do, but still planning on getting high and enjoying those panoramas in the afternoon, when it will be cracking flags :P . Should arrive mid/late evening, as can't finish work early, so save me a decent bunk on the bottom level please. I always go on top usually, but I am still recovering and my knee won't manage the jump from the top bunk yet. What's the plan re hut entry? Nothing on the members only section of the BB yet and I haven't had an email yet. Someone better be there to let me in and have the fire stoked up ;)
